So it’s finally here, Ladies and Gents, a fun and energetic way to get kids moving towards health and fitness. My Gym.com is releasing their awe inspired Activators, a group of four highly motivating bodies ready to entertain and encourage children of all ages and abilities to get moving.
The Activators use music, singing, graphics, and games to entertain, teach, and motivate young kids. Their lingo of movements is kid friendly from knee slaps, chicken movements, happy hips, and even to hot feet. Their mission is to engage preschoolers in physical fitness while focusing on imaginative place, balance, agility, coordination, and the development of other gross motor skills.
The Activators will be appearing on television programs, hosting their own show on My Gym TV, and will be touring the nation motivating families to get fit. Wouldn't it be great to already know and love them when they stop by your city?!
Even though the program is marketed toward preschoolers, my 7 year old was smiling from ear to ear, fully engaged, while my 7 month old danced to the music while sitting on the floor. I’m tellin ya, this group is really entertaining and I’d highly recommend it to teachers, as an educator myself, as well as to families across the world who are concerned about the sky rocketing obesity rate and/or just the overall need to incorporate health, fitness, and learning all on one show.
