DYK #102 My Son's Words

My son: You really should put some clothes on, you know. (I'm still in my p.j.'s)

Me: Oh yeah.

Son: Yeah, cause it's not like it's 6:00 or something at night.

*He walks away, goes to the pantry and wants to know if he can have some chips.*

Me: No, I'm making lunch.

Son: Yeah, but I don't like that mom.

*He walks away again*

Son: Can I watch UP? Can I mom? Can I? Can I mom?

My life...is blissfully fun. :)

DYK ( Did You Know?)

Hubby needs to come home so I can bathe. Soaking in a bubble bath doesn't meet the requirements for watching a 9 month old. :)

And, speaking of Hubby, I'm honoring him tonight by serving: steak, shrimp, and a beer, with shaved legs. My shaved legs, that is. Once I get into that bubble bath. Ok, well, maybe the shaved legs will be after Hubby gets home, after dinner, before bed. :) Oh yeah...

Anywhoo, I love the man and want to show my appreciation for all he does. :)

Did You Know??

DYK ... I had a migraine all day yesterday and the only, lasting, treatment I could find was cold ice packs all over my head? cute, huh?? :)

DYK ... little Miss Maddie has her first cold (snuffy nose and tiny cough). She's not run a fever yet she is a bit fussy over the snuffiness of it all. We stayed home today to recover.

DYK ... I tried to put my twitter updates on my page but am having no luck.

DYK ... Maddie's fav. color at the moment is blue. She gets so excited when she sees anything blue and begins either squeeling for it or grunting.

DYK ... I just recently picked her up a Jack-in-the-Box. She loves it. I allowed her to choose the one she wanted.

DYK ... five month old babies can make choices? Give it a try...its too cool. :)

DYK ... I'd love for someone else to continue this either here or on your own blog.
