Healthy Options of Days Gone By: Review and Giveaway

When I was first approached by Healthy Options of Days Gone By I was awed by their uniqueness to natural products as well as the information they provided to their customers through their blog.

Healthy Options of Days Gone By is a family owned and operated company, located in the Valdosta, Ga. area where southern charm and hospitality mix with natural ingredients and love. They offer a wide selection of  products from: soaps, bath salts, body powders, scrubs, creams, and so much more.

I received three soap bars: 2 bars of Sweet Southern Green Tea, and 1 bar of Tiny Hiney Bath Soap. I also received the Tiny Hiney Hand Creme and the Winter Rub Salve {I plan on using the Winter Rub on our next bad case of chest cold}. I was very pleased with all the products.

The soaps left my skin feeling crisp and clean with no residue or harsh chemicals to irritate. I even used them as a face wash and was pleasantly surprised that there was never any burning {like I typically see with my other face cleansers and creams} and my face was never left oily yet rather firm and refreshed.

I love the natural look of the soaps, their rectangular shape, with the bits and pieces of oils and minerals made right in. They come in 2.0 to 2.2 ounces, each one unique within itself. I'm curious to see how long they will actually last. I've bathed with them a couple times now and the bars haven't seemed to lose any size/shape yet.  Healthy Options of Days Gone By sales their soaps: Double Mint Chocolate Body Soap, Kiss Me Goodnight, Diggin' In The Diry Hand and Body Soap {just to name a few} for only $2.00 each, a deal that simply can't be passed up when caring for yourself and family.

The hand cream I received, Tiny Hiney Hand Creme, is a smooth, oil based moisturizer that I desperately need during the winter months. It goes on easy and lasts threw several hand washings. It comes in a 2 oz. container and is only $5.00. I'll definitely keep this product stocked through out the year.

Overall, my experience with Healthy Options of Days Gone By was very pleasant, I received my order quickly, the products are well crafted, and the shipping packaging is even reused materials to help Ol' Mother Earth out. And their generosity doesn't just stop with me, Healthy Options of Days Gone By is offering one lucky reader the chance to The Ice Cream Dream basket which featuring:  1 Tangerine Dream Bath Soap, 2 Double Mint Chocolate Bath Soap, 2 Vanilla Comfort Bath Soap, 1 Hint o Mint Lipbalm, 1 Orange Drop lipbalm, and 1 Double Mint Sugar Scrub.

I LOVE handmade natural soaps and bath products! OH, my gosh! The prices are great! I'm making them an Etsy fave!

So, I'd definitely go for the Just for Kids Critter soaps (my Bebe Boy James would get a kick out of them!), and the Tea Tree Oil soaps for me, and the Men Bath soaps (Hint of the Woods) for him (he likes feeling all 'manly' and stuff),and just about any of the talc-free body powders.

Thanks for the giveaway!
