When you first sign up, you and your child get to create his/her profile. Here you can post a picture, create your screen name, and answer a few simple questions such as: is your child able to type his/her own name, is your child hearing impaired or color blind, etc.? I love the fact that these questions are asked so that Zoodles can be custom designed to your child's needs. Next its on to playing some games. With the parent dashboard you are able to actually choose which games you'd like to see your child play, focusing on certain skills and/or subject. I must admit, the games were a bit challenging to us at first. Once on your profile, you simply click the "play games" button and that's it. Each game was a bit difficult until you get the hang of it. I had to read all the directions and even click on the "how to" button to actually learn how to play the game. I think maybe simpler directions would have been more helpful, but once it was all explained then the fun could really begin.
Overall, my son and I both enjoyed playing these educational games. It was great practice for his reading as well as math skills, and the games were related to topics that he was already interested in such as the movie, UP. Also, I think the prices are quiet reasonable for all the information and entertainment that's available. Sounds like a good giveaway, and your entry is simpler than most. I work with kids in Honduras, but we use old fashioned stuff like books, paper and pencils. Our group may get internet one day, but not until the internet finds it way up that mountain.
