Prepaid Credit Cards

Credit cards are more of any necessity than ever before. They're convenient and easier to carry than cash. They're also a requirement for many goods and services, such as making or holding reservations and renting cars. However, there's also also a down side to credit cards that can get you into trouble, high interest rates and fees and the lure of "free money" are among them. There's a simple solution to the dilemma of whether or not to carry credit cards: have your credit cards prepaid to the company.

Prepaid credit cards help you keep your financial head above water while still allowing you the advantage of having a card at your disposal. Most of prepaid cards are from recognized names in the credit industry, and you never have to worry about going over your limit. You can only spend as much as you have in your card balance. There are also services that allow you to reload prepaid cards from anywhere in the world, either online or by phone. That's easier and much less expensive than asking someone wire money the old fashioned way if you have an emergency. Because they are premium brands, prepaid cards have the same purchasing power as traditional credit cards. This means that making reservations and online purchases is still possible, and you don't have to worry about carrying cash. They also teach financial discipline; it's impossible to spend what you don't have, and you don't have to worry about raises in interest or punitive fees or going to debt.
