Day 2 of the Beginner Steps, according to The FlyLady:
Today I want you get up and get dressed to lace up shoes when you first get up in the morning. This means fix your hair and face too.

In order for us to change ourselves we need to remind ourselves of what we are doing. I did this with yellow sticky notes throughout my home to guide me through my day. This was the beginning of my home control journal. I had little notes on my bathroom mirror to remind me to get dressed to shoes.

Shine your sink before you go to bed.

My typical day, even on the weekends, somewhere involves putting on shoes. Since having three kids, I don't typically get the luxury of simply lying around the house doing nothing {and believe me, I day dream of this "nothingness" at times}. But, I remember back after having Maddie when I was so concerned with developing Postpartum Depression that I would get up every morning, put on my workout clothes, and go for a walk. I knew that if I stayed in the house, I'd go crazy, and cry alot, which may be the definition of going crazy, I don't know. :) However, I had experienced it before and I was not going to relive, so I put on my shoes. :)

What about You? When it comes to organizing Your home, Your life, have you looked directed at Yourself and started there? Do You get up every morning/night {depending on your work schedule/sleep life} and prepare Yourself for a grand day?
